At Little Palace Preschool Gymea, our Infant Program supports children aged 6–12 months through nurturing care, meaningful relationships and engaging learning experiences.
As infants become increasingly curious about the world around them, our educators provide opportunities for communication, movement and exploration that help build confidence, independence and a lifelong love of learning.
Between 6 and 12 months, infants begin developing greater control over their bodies, movements and interactions with the world around them. They become increasingly interested in sounds, facial expressions, language and social connection.
Our educators create a warm and responsive environment where children feel safe, supported and encouraged to explore at their own pace. Through meaningful interactions, music, stories and sensory experiences, infants begin building the foundations for future learning and development.
Infants learn through observation, exploration, movement and meaningful relationships. Simple everyday experiences such as listening to stories, watching facial expressions, exploring their environment and practising new movements all contribute to healthy development.
Our educators carefully support each child’s individual journey while allowing them the time and freedom to develop new skills naturally and confidently.
